- Q: Can I install MSNPlus in my operating system?
- A: MSNPlus can operating well in Windows XP, Windows 2003 Server, Windows Vista, Windows 7 and above, but doesn't support Windows 98, Windows 2000, MAC OS, and Linux and so on.
- Q: Which version of Messenger shall I choose to install and where can I download it?
- A: MSN Messenger has just changed its name into Windows Live Messenger, and now the most popular version is 8.5(Version 2008) and 9.0(Version2009).
- If you are using Windows XP or Windows Vista, we suggest that you choose Windows Live Messenger 9.0(Version 2009) (Official download URL).
- If you are using Windows XP (x64) or Windows Server 2003, we suggest that you choose Windows Live Messenger 8.1 (Official download URL)。
- MSNPlus currently doesn't support MSN Messenger 7.5 and Microsoft Messenger on MAC OS.
- Q: I have already installed MessengerPlus!Live, and can I use MSNPlus?
- A: MSNPlus and MessengerPlus! Live offer many different features. Moreover, MSNPlus have been tested in its compatibility, which permits no conflicts with MessengerPlus!Live, please feel safe to use it.
- Q: Why after installed MSNPlus, I can't sigh in Windows Live Messenger occasionally?
- A: This problem occurs with high possibility when you are using proxy. Please cancel the option of proxy and restart it. Without exception, this problem will not happen when you go to internet with proxy. But if you can only go to internet with proxy in your company, please contact your network administrator to solve the problem.
- Q: Why can't I use "Photo Express" of MSNPlus?

A: "Photo Express" requires the both chatting sides to install it; only by this way can the both sides view pictures during your conversation.
If you see such notice: “Sorry, you cannot use "Photo Express" of MSNPlus temporarily." or can't use normally this feature, there may be caused by:
* Because of the network delays, and your sign in Windows Live Messenger this time adopts the connection of http to Microsoft’s server instead of the TCP way.
* Your Windows Firewall or other firewall application you installed prevents Windows Live Messenger visiting the 1863 port.
* The network administrator of the internal network that you are using forbids the visit to 1863 port.
We suggest you adopt operations as:
* Cancel and restart your Windows Live Messenger. If you don't see the notice once more, then you can use it normally.
* If you still see this notice, please check the firewall installed in your computer, and do some setting as to permit the visit of Messenger to 1863 port.
* If the method mentioned above can't solve the problem, and moreover, you are still stay in your company or in other internal network, please contact the network administrator to solve the problem. - Q: How to uninstall MSNPlus?
- A: You can uninstall it in two ways as:
- Open “Start" menu, choose "All program"-“MSNPlus”-“Uninstall MSNPlus”, and can uninstall it easily following the instructions.
- Open "Control Panel"-"Add or remove programs"(XP) or "Programs or Features (Vista or Windows 7)", find the "MSNPlus" and click "Change/Remove"(XP) or "Uninstall"(Vista and Windows 7) button.
